Cotton Heavy Haulage Ltd specialises in the transportation of over-weight and over-dimensional loads. We have four transporters capable of shifting all kinds of machinery. This enables us to offer a comprehensive service throughout the country for the relocation of equipment as necessary.
Based in Nelson at the top of the South Island, we service the whole of New Zealand. With many years of experience in specialised cartage, the crew at Cottons can assure you of professional and efficient movement - whether you have a house, boat, equipment or machinery to get from one place to another.

Complimentary to Leith’s 20 years of experience in heavy haulage, we also have a comprehensive fleet suited for various over-width, over-weight or over-length applications. This includes the ability with our 250t rated Mercedes tractor unit to shift loads in excess of 100t with the addition of steering dolly axles. Our highlift tromboning house trailers enables us to shift buildings and structures of the largest width able to fit on the roads. Our brand new fully electronically controlled steering trailer is suited to manouevring overlength loads and houses around New Zealand roads.
